WOW!
The official PokéPark KANTO website shared the first images of the stunning new theme park in Japan. The opening of this park marks the first of its kind within the anime’s world, debuting at the beginning of the month as one of the major announcements of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.
Set to open on February 5 in Inagi City, the park will debut rides featuring Pikachu and Eevee and the Eeveelutions, Snorlax popcorn buckets and even special event shows in Sedge Town.

Attractions






Eevee and its evolutions take center stage on the Vee Vee Voyage! This adorable merry-go-round experience also showcases some of Eevee’s friends including Gallop and Ponyta. The Pikapika Paradise ride features Pikachu and over 25 Electric-type Pokémon.
Food









If you’ve ever wanted to experience real Pokémon-style food, PokéPark KANTO will serve us well. With dedicated four locations, it seems that there’s something for all fans. Trainers can stock on the necessary supplies at the Poké Mart before hitting the Pokémon Forest.
Merchandise




Exclusive PokéPark KANTO merchandise will also be available for purchase the theme park. Featuring plushes, keychains, head accessories, reusable bags and more, these items will likely be flying off the shelves once the park opens. Read more about all of Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary Collabs here.
PokéPark KANTO Preview Day
Trainers based in Japan got an opportunity to attend Preview Day at PokéPark KANTO on January 27. There were nearly 600 Pokémon statues scattered throughout the park, a plethora of merchandise and even a real life Nurse Joy working the Pokémon Center!
